Works good here, things to try: 1. Check your upload speed-both the ISP and your camera settings. Try adjusting your substream per camera to low (if you have 8 cams at 256k ea. And you only have 512k up, all 8 wont work) 2. Wi-Fi works, Data doesn’t – Some phone providers block certain ports to reduce network traffic. See if they’re blocking, or use a different port. 3. Per another commenter, try changing your Streaming Media Protocol, set to either 2 or 3, see if helps.
I haven’t tested notifications yet, but for those that are connecting GW security GW42 model, you need to port forward 80(http login) and 554 (media streaming) to get live view to work remotely. Since internal IP, there is no firewall on your router, everything works fine. But you gotta open ports up to allow internet to come through your cellular network
Its working fine but i can not connect when i am not connected to the same wifi that the cameras are connected to. i was expecting when i am at work , i could still watch activities at my home. please upgrade if possible 🙏
Fix – changed default protocol 3 to protocol 2…working now. Previous problem = Stops at 19 percent and hangs. Updated app, updated NVR firmware, wifi or cell, internal or external, hangs…even upgraded my speed to 400\20…hangs and never loads. Samsung S10. Worked until about 2 weeks ago. Desktop program and browser works. Mobile app, nope.
App only works if connected to wifi to view cams with Android 13, Please fix. Spent a whole day trying a million things, and no luck. UPDATE: FOUND FIX: Go to Settings / Simcard / Carrier Settings / Access point Names , and change APN Protocol to : IPv4 instead of IPv6. Good luck.
Same as other reviews, won’t work unless on Wi-Fi. Update: I’m back to viewing on cellular service. I just Uninstaller the app from my phone and downloaded again, put my email and password and BAM! I’m good to go!
It does not add devices very much faster, need to try 3-4 times – scan or manual both same issue. What is the program for desktop and link from browser? And there how do we login? With the same id pwd of this App?
I think we should also hear sound just in case there were to be a assault or a robbery. We’d have that person on tape..Just a thought.
Works for my needs pretty well… Weird display issue. On my phone I can have 1..4..6..9… And so on windows. But on my tablet, it will only show… 1…4…9… And so on Windows. Why can’t tablet have 6 windows. (2 rows, 3 columns)
